What is going on with the board?

Actually, curiousfiend left because he was disappointed in my thread about how to be a man. I was told to make his posts a thread so we could all follow along, but in any event, he left. Everybody comes in and sees we have some lurkers, but no posters and exits the board. I did notice that the board took on three new posters when I was out and a new admin named. They left when I came back. What does that tell you?

People don't want the truth. Most of the people who do become board regulars need someone to hold their hand and make them validate their pet beliefs on a daily basis. I don't play it that way. I'm basically just a poster here now. My contribution to the board will, most likely, end after the first of the year unless we find an audience that would benefit off our OPEN TO ALL policy. You can't blame the people that bitched and moaned to get me banned off of other sites. They don't have to defend dishonest positions. So, they will never be here to fight me on a level playing field. But, to all those who cannot find a place that tolerates them (lots of people - even Trump are persona no grata on social media) you should post here. You don't need anyone to hold your hand.

As long as people are looking at the posts it justifies posting and that is what we can see from the view counter on each thread. If you can think of anything that will drive more people to the site LMK. Be glad to do whatever to get posters to post.

Having refrained from posting a lot and hoping that people would post here it has become clear in my mind that nobody cares about what has been offered here. People are like sheep and are congregating at sites where tyrants throw some money into eye candy and the masses go there to be good little sheeple. It doesn't require work and doesn't require building from the bottom up.

At this stage the few of us left are just leaving some morsels for those who will be let down by the mass promoters of paranoia and silliness. We can leave some threads for those who may stumble onto this site. For me I will check in and participate though this will only be a minor part of my time unless and until somebody steps up and sees the value in building something we can be proud of. I admonish you to check out the existing threads on here no matter how old they get. Thank you for your time and consideration.
