As I'm writing this the Israelis are going into Palestine to (supposedly) root out Hamas for the unprovoked attack the Jews suffered. While many of the profiteers called preachers are wanting this to be the sign of the Second Coming, I'm skeptical. At the same time I'm admitting to you that this event gave me an opportunity to straighten out the relationships between human beings and say to you how things ought to be. Admittedly, that makes me an opportunist.
I don't go out looking for a confrontation with those that I disagree with. At a personal level, it's smarter to just mind your own business and stay within circles where you feel comfortable. And just because people have a disagreement with others doesn't give them cause to initiate a personal action. If you have to walk around a block to avoid a problem, don't hesitate to do it. As I get older, it's harder for me to let people run over me, so I pick my fights very carefully. That doesn't include being a willing victim, but it does mean to not be the one who initiates a confrontation.
As a Christian I have fundamental differences with Muslims. At the same time, it was horrific news when a landlord stabbed a 6 year old to death allegedly for being Muslim. Is there any logical defense for taking it upon yourself to kill a 6 year old child?
When the Non-whites refuse to acknowledge the Rights of White people and rely on unconscionable civil rights laws to force themselves onto those who don't want to mix with them (socially, politically, religiously, or whatever the case may be) then the Whites have every RIGHT to resist that kind of tyranny, but such resistance must meet the amount of force necessary to avoid the situation without going above it. Exhaust all of your nonviolent legal and political avenues of redress, but stand your ground. Each of us has to decide where to draw the line and then stick to that. Weigh the options carefully and study the moral, legal and practical outcome of your options in advance.
Non Whites, non Christians, members of the LGBTQP community and those left of center who identify with so - called "protected classes" have an unequal advantage over the Posterity of the framers of the Constitution. But the time has come to NOT let them ascribe resistance to hatred and / or bigotry while they practice those traits every single day and make a religion out of doing it. At the same time, when conservatives, MAGA people or anyone else practice unethical or immoral responses to those that they disagree with, it is just as bad as the evil they rally against. The last thing that I want in this life is some smart ass telling me what I believe instead of asking me; making unfounded accusations against me without probable cause; trying to use jailhouse psychology to have people join them in some effort to censor me, harass me or humiliate me for having the cahones to disagree with them. I'd punch such a person in the nose for doing that face to face and I've weighed the consequences. I don't recommend that you follow my lead. I'm not advocating it. I'm just telling you where my personal lines in the sand have been drawn. It's why people don't post here. I call them out and then they have to be held accountable for doing things they wouldn't do face to face. They get discredited really quick.
I don't do that kind of stuff to others either. You can always rest assured that if my posts allege something, there is evidence - and it's provided in order to back it up. I'm sure there will be more to this and if we had actual posters, this would be an interesting thread. But it is what it is and hopefully you found something educational or somehow worthy of your time.
