There is so much going on in the world that it is a shame we are not big enough here to cover the news from a different view point. Some things are bothering me and some puzzling. Just in case someone does want to consider this it is being left here.
It was disappointing to watch the republicans vote to give aid to Israel. Why are we giving aid to countries that use us and abuse us? Israelis can have dual citizenship to support liberalism here at home and help a country in the Middle East that has practices not legally acceptable in the United States. Think about cultural integrity on that count.
Along the lines of aid to foreign countries it is distressing that the people in the United States want to end aid to Ukraine. Whether for good or bad the United States is in a proxy war with Ukraine. If we pull out now Putin will probably attack a smaller NATO country in retaliation for working with the United States. That obligates us to defend a NATO ally. Then we are in Ukraine or maybe fighting Russia with American boots on the ground.
At home we continue to ignore the assaults on freedoms. While Joe Biden is touting his inflation reduction bill the republicans are silent about the fact that it was that bill which calls for the hiring of 87000 new IRS agents. Once the cash economy is gone we will basically be socialist. The only thing left will be to eliminate the electoral college. It appears that the democrat DJT will make that his signature legislation when he gets elected.

I have done my due diligence, asking for opinions as to why the racially enlightened (for lack of a more descriptive adjective) were supporting Trump. All I got was responses by feds and total morons that wanted to argue over whether or not Jews are a race. I don't know what the relevancy of it is. The people who, by their own words, said they hated Jews are now worshipping a man that is pro-Israel /pro-Jew. I'm not qualified to argue whether or not those people (mostly National Alliance, Nazis, etc.) believe that Jews are a race, but so - called White supremacists have always been anti-Jew in my lifetime. Self proclaimed Jews - that is those who identify as Jew based upon their biology have been poles apart from the founding principles that made American the great nation it used to be. It's as Trump supporters, to a man, are suffering from cognitive dissonance. After watching the last Republican presidential debate it's obvious that most voters don't need to vote. They don't under the system enough to know that the next president will have ZERO influence over abortion and we have real issues that need to addressed: the economy, Socialist Security, Medicare, wars, spending, the lack of mental health treatment in this country, drugs, foreigners pouring into the United States, etc., etc. I don't get it either.
