There is a lot of posts on this board about the Israelis. What should our policy be toward them? Should we help them in their war and support them?
It is confusing given that those who live there seem to only like the US for what the government will provide for them and yet the H.O.R. wants to finance a ME war at the expense of Ukraine, the border wall, and SS payments. What is going on?

On what basis do we support the Israelis? Are they are our allies? What do they contribute toward the U.S. / Israeli relationship? Aren't we just a cash cow for their wars? How come they get to practice cultural integrity there while condemning the Posterity of the framers of our Constitution for advocating the same thing? Why is the United States involved in no win international wars when we can't take care of the elderly, handicapped or wounded warriors at home?
The only thing I can come up with here is the false identity provided by the MSM, politicians and misguided clergy in this country regarding who the Israelis are... and they damn well are NOT Semites nor the Israelites of the Old Testament.
The Republicrats want to end aid to Ukraine, but for better or worse, if we leave that battle you can bet Putin will attack a smaller NATO country, draw us into the war and it will be American boots on the ground. It's something to think about.

As hot as that topic seemed to be it was disappointing that more is not being said on this thread. We do not need to be in the ME fighting for wars that benefit no one and wasting money when the US cannot protect its own borders and refuses to let the people protect their own property. The prophets for profit seem to be pushing a scheme to make their interpretations of the Bible a self fulfilling prophecy. In the end they will walk away like bandits having made money and made a joke of religion. There. Someone had to say it.

The Israelis have nothing to offer the American people. We are allies that give to them their daily bread as it were. In exchange they give us liberals and socialists. There are conservative Jews but most of them still think we should prop up the Jewish state. In order to keep the opposition off guard the pro Israeli forces sink to calling everyone that disagrees with them antisemitic. When will the American people wake up? Not everybody that disagrees with the Israelis is anti-Jewish and the people living in Israel today are not Semites. Some simply disagree that financing all these wars puts a target on our backs and costs a lot of money. The money the US spends on wars and the upkeep of NATO would add a lot of money to the Social Security checks of seniors and the disabled. It could be used to help people in this country. It could be used to rebuild our military and our infrastructure. Right now the best the Israelis can do to justify their war is to pretend to find a few old rusted AK 47s in a hospital that would have to be used as bats since the weapons are inoperable. Hamas is contained in an area twenty five miles long and at its widest point about seven miles. Israelis could have taken that piece of land in a week. Somebody needs to put this into a perspective we can all understand. |

It was so easy to get sidetracked with that Freemasons thread. Great perspectives so far. We should be against giving any more money to the Israelis to fight Hamas. They have them surrounded and they could occupy that area for as long as they need to without any more outside help.
