“Appear weak when you are strong, and strong when you are weak.” Sun Tzu in The Art of War
Sun Tzu also said that "all war is deception." We are living in a time of universal deception. The United States Supreme Court allowed a coach to pray on the field after a football game. In New York they said that the government could not outright ban carrying a weapon for self defense. Roe v. Wade was overturned. The people have spoken. We're winning. All is right in the world. Right?
I don't think so. There never has been such a thing as a separation of church and state. The words in a private letter to the Danbury Baptists AND taken out of context to mean 180 degrees opposite of what the man intended have no legal authority. The people of New York already had a Right to keep and bear Arms. Roe v. Wade doesn't end abortion. It simply puts the matter in the hands of the states. Nothing was gained.
OTOH, in the legislative arena, the liberals are getting one law after another passed to take away our Rights. BEFORE the mid term voting began I would have told you the Republicans were going to clean house and beat the Democrats across the board. Instead their "wins" have become THE catalyst to get the left out to vote. When things are going "our" way, those who are under the delusion they're winning are less likely to vote. The far left has been given an incentive to vote. In Georgia, where I live, in the last election cycle the Democrats flipped the state with the help of ... well, I want you to read this thread. Now, we are in the mid terms and the Democrats have the most money, a really whizzed off left, and the Republicans turn out mediocre candidates and / or those who have to fight for recognition amid the fractured Republican Party.
Only seven states have more electoral votes than Georgia. That is one reason it should have never been a swing state for Republicans. At all costs it should have been preserved as a Republican stronghold. Then there is that "On the Other Hand" (OTOH) way of seeing this. There is little difference between the left and right; Democrat and Republican; conservative and liberal. They are all headed toward the same destination, just by different routes. Right now, for me, the barometer is the governor's race in Georgia. Brian Kemp is a popular man. He slaughtered the Trump endorsed candidate, David Perdue in the primary and now has to go up against Trump endorsed Stacey Abrams in the runoff. Kemp won against Abrams the last time around, but it was with less than a single percentage point. The media has become a Political Action Committee and Americans think that we are a democracy wherein popular sentiment is all that is necessary to pass a law based upon a majority vote. I find myself reminding even Republicans that we are a republic and it is supposed to be that Rights guaranteed under the Bill of Rights are not subject to a popularity vote. For that reason, the Democrats and the left (collectively) have the most well thought strategy to get what they want.
Under Biden, the assault against our cultural heritage continues. Juneteenth, the holiday demanded by black supremacists, became law. We witnessed Biden mandating millions of people take a Covid 19 shot or lose their jobs. Biden reversed many of Trump's Executive Orders AND Biden issued more Executive Orders than Trump did during the first year in the presidency. Gun control by both policy (within the BATFE) and by legislation have deprived us of the Right to keep and bear Arms. The electoral college (the last constitutional vestige of our Republican Form of Government guaranteed in the Constitution) is under attack. We are on the verge of becoming an outright democracy. There is more, but I really want you to read this thread. The point is, the left has a superior strategy. If we don't wake up and assess the strategy, America will be a Democratic Socialist nanny state by the time of the next election cycle. If that happens, Liberty will never be a political option again in the United States. It will have to regained by war.
