Democrat alarmists who want your tax dollars will tell you stuff like massive homelessness - millions of the working poor use their paycheck to cover rent, relying on welfare for food. But hunger wins. Within a few months, landlords would be going broke all over the country.
Housing prices collapse - a large percentage of houses and apartments are rented to the working poor making mass evictions comes and landlords unable to cover mortgages. Foreclosures soar and the frail housing market collapses again.
With far less tax money going to poor people, let's assume the government uses the cash to pay down debt instead of offering tax rebates. This drops interest rates and frees up capital for business loans. That would be stimulative, but with far fewer consumers, the economy is slide into massive depression. Businesses will contract.
The depression will go worldwide quickly, just as it did during the Great Depression and in 2008, but with fragile economies around the world, the damage would be far worse.
Homelessness will drive up crime. Since state income usually is tied to sales tax (way down) and property tax (declining), states will cut programs for everything but police and prisons. The results will be more cops and far more inmates, driving up costs dramatically.
I call bullshit. Welfare has imprisoned millions of White families. by ending welfare things would go back to the way they were before the Dems decided that it was the government’s job to take care of people instead of simply running the Country to provide opportunities for them to better themselves.
That being churches, philanthropists and other private ventures would take care of the poor and those in need.
The end result after all this “help” from the government is approximately ONE-THIRD of Americans are on some form of government assistance. With much of them are quite content to simply sit on their asses and cash their welfare check each month.
The “help” has also led to almost a complete breakdown of the family in the WHITES communities. This is because if the woman admits to who the father of her child is then she won’t get the government money. She just keep breeding.
In a free society, welfare of any description is never a legitimate function of government. It is in fact, an important element of communism—i. e. “From each according to his abilities and to each according to his needs.” It might seem like a great idea to some people, but Russia, North Korea, and several others have proven that it is both an economic and social disaster.
Our Founding Fathers would have never considered even one of the numerous welfare programs that currently consume trillions of our tax dollars, and have in fact, radically increased poverty instead of relieving it.
Up until the 1930s, people who immigrated to America did so to escape the heavy hands of oppressive governments and be free to work for themselves and earn their livings. Nobody even dreamed of handouts from any level of government. However, they did enjoy the benefits of much lower taxes and nearly nonexistent regulations. But beginning with FDR’s “New Deal,” various “relief” programs became established, and over the years, they have expanded into the jungle of money-draining, morale-destroying abominations we have today.
Through ignorance, many people now believe it would be cruel if we eliminated our government-run welfare programs. They envision children starving, living in shacks, and never getting educated. Today, through government-run education and their own parents, children are actually being taught that public assistance is necessary for a civilized society.
Call it “tough love” if you wish, but the absence of all government-run public assistance is a crucial recipe for everybody’s prosperity. Free people are expected to take care of their own affairs and earn their own livings, not be moochers and beggars, and certainly not robbers who use the force of government to extort resources from their fellows.
What about the truly needy—those who are disabled or otherwise unable to survive without help? That is why we have charities and churches in the private sector. They are far more efficient in managing their funds and sorting the truly needy from the mooching riffraff.
Today, we are swamped with millions of undocumented foreigners. Yes, some come to earn honest livings. But our huge and numerous public assistance programs attract endless hordes who come and receive massive quantities of “freebies.”
Here on the home front, we have another invasion—reckless childbearing. Many welfare programs, along with portions of our tax codes, offer endless incentives for people to bear excess children so they can receive more benefits. This creates an explosive surge in the welfare classes as future generations expand exponentially.
These wasted resources help nobody. They only provide a portal into dependence. The very existence of welfare gives people the attitude, “Why work for a living and pay taxes when I can get on relief and get it for free—food, housing, utilities, health care, child care, and just about anything else?”
People on welfare are parasites, pure and simple. They are taught to be that way by our own government. Not only are they unproductive, they have little to keep them busy. But they do have ample time to make nuisances of themselves and perform demonstrations to demand even more and support political candidates who will do just that. Some even graduate into criminal activities.
Life on welfare is undesirable in every respect. It is a life of destitution and dependency—unable to take care of oneself and unable to produce. Since the Devil FDR, and especially since the days of Lyndon Johnson’s “Great Society” in the mid-1960s, the percentage of our population on public assistance has skyrocketed. Some sources say that it is now approaching 50%, a dangerous tipping point where the people who vote for their livings will outnumber and outvote the productive sector of our population. Should that ever happen, then American civilization is primed for a catastrophic collapse.
Yes, things will change. The fatsos and couch-dwelling welfarites will have to get a job like any normal person, Boo-hoo. And no, thewelfarites are not going to rebel or revolt, they don't have the resources.
Life is hard, it has always been. If you make it easier, do you think someone would prefer it harder? There are benefits to not receiving help in a terrible time. Those benefits come in the form of a mirror. That mirror might reflect a change in thoughts, efforts, decisions, and actions. Sink or swim, basically. Learning to swim is hard to do but easier if it's the only option for survival. Because the only options would be to get up and fight to change everything or to lay down and die. Now someone else making things easier hinders that natural human endurance and creates a dependency on help a lot of times. Coming from a good place, most don't want anyone to unnecessarily suffer, especially had they themselves suffered. Except suffering builds endurance and without it ever, no one could get it together. If things are made easy and comfortable without effort, where could someone muster the desire to change their lives for the better? Where could someone find their resiliency and endurance? Sometimes, the greatest help a person could get is none at below rock bottom. Then, there’s only one direction to move toward and they will have been responsible for making their life what it is, themselves. Taking that away from someone is practically asking them to depend upon you.
This is my opinion, your is probably different. But let me tell you, I have lived a life full of ups and downs until just a few years ago. I have been nearly homeless, suffered from major depression and severe hearing loss, and worked 3 jobs for years that equated to 17-hour days, 7 days a week. I can't and don't even want to imgagine how my life wouldbe now if I chose to get into the welfare cycle.
Lots of liberals will compare America with 3rdworld countries that do not have welfare and how poor off those countries are. So what do people in those countries do? They work!

Lots of liberals will compare America with 3rdworld countries that do not have welfare and how poor off those countries are. So what do people in those countries do? They work! I think that expecting to stop all welfare is pie in the sky and unrealistic. So, this is a pipe dream with no hope of becoming law. Then, it does open the door to talk about real welfare solutions. When it comes to white people, over half of all marriages end in divorce. The woman ends up with the kids most of the time. The father is absent and many times doesn't pay child support. We are in a generation of welfarites and people with a criminal record. Welfare becomes a lifestyle. The people who pay taxes don't balk as long as they get some of their money. So, we end up with the mother with children, on welfare, working on a job that pays insults instead of wages, AND to top it off we have a system that wants to drug the children rather than to intervene and get to the root of the problem. " Mom" always thinks her kids are special and they become entitled. The white males are always special, so they get put on drugs and the most influential person in their life is mommy. Many of them will become so emotionally screwed up they have a drug problem and issues with their sexuality. By the time they're 26 they have to come off of mommy's insurance so that they now have a drug problem, a criminal record, a sexual identity issue, no education, no job skills, no work history, no work ethic, and a broken moral compass. They become welfarites. Many will go to prison and prison / welfare becomes their cycle of life. What can we do about it? My standard default is that we have to change the way Americans think. We have to reject Drug Nation USA. Our new plan should be is to administer drugs to children only as a LAST RESORT. Unless and until we make that one change, everything is urinating in the wind. For those lazy white males sitting on their ass, converting that $250 a month food money into cash by way of mommy and sympathetic friends and relatives, we need to bring people into counseling sessions and find out WHY they aren't working and producing. In my neighborhood there are more white guys getting $250 a month on a debit card to buy food with than there are working. Now, these guys live with mommy so they have no rent expense. A paltry few live with daddy. These trashy people are so sorry that they " allow" mommy to go a food bank and get their groceries. Mommy, friends, etc. then go to the store with the welfarite. The welfarite buys groceries for that individual, who then pays them about 65 cents on the dollar (average) which converts that food debit card money into drug money. This scenario is more common in my neighborhood than working white males. We can talk about how evil it is, but if you want to do something it must be followed up by getting kids off of "legal" drugs. We should also require that couples applying for a marriage license to attend at least 6 sessions of premarital counseling. If you do that and then find out WHY these guys are sitting on their butt, not looking for a job, and require them to look for a job and / or get some job skills training, you can begin to impact the welfare situation.

I agree with almost everything you say. There is never a reason why kids should be put on drugs of any kind. I told you that when I went through ky devastating divorce, I contacted a psychiatrist. His secretary to me right on the phone that he does not talk and only prescribes. I rejected his antidepressant drug but did take his antianxiety drugs and they were very habit-forming. it took me 3 months of weaning to get off them. Kids are put on psychoactive drugs for no reason at all. is there any kid who wants a trouble maker or fidgety or engaging in school fights? I do believe that we can end welfare quickly. No, not overnight but within a few weeks or months. Drugs are the main issue. They keep people lazy and those who are on drugs often just lie down on the street and "bliss out" college is a scam and more trade schools should come back. We don't need more people educated in liberal arts but more people with practical skills. The average tradesman makes more than the college grad and I have experienced this firsthand. Take for example the plumber who owns his own company. He makes many times more than the average company executive. I do not believe that married couples should take marriage lessons, that kills the romance. They need to learn about the importance of marriage through the non-divorced parents and parents-in-law and if that is not enough then they can talk to leaders at church. Mariage lessons use pseudo-psychology and I don't go for that. The wife and kids must listen to the decision of the husband. We need to promote Christianity once again in America for it is the greatest weapon against the enemy.

I would defend premarital counseling this way: The law should not require that premarital counseling be done by psychologists. I have a degree in Christian Education. If I do premarital counseling, I ask uncomfortable questions. Let me give you a sampling: If both of you work, do you plan on having a joint checking account? How will you decide who is paying for what in the household? How do you feel about abortion? Suppose you have a child and then end up getting a divorce. Which of you gets the child? How do you handle child support and custody? If your child gets into trouble at school and it is recommended that your child be put on psychotropic drugs, will you do that or seek alternative treatment or do nothing at all? My questions are tough and the prospective couple will get a few weeks to think it over as the hard questions are asked at the beginning, in the middle of the six week session, and at the end. If a couple cannot do the counseling, I won't perform the wedding. I am with you on the trades. When I was in high school they had courses for auto mechanics, welding, carpentry, and electrical. There were also courses in basic subjects like home economics and housekeeping skillsets. Forcing someone who is better suited at building or fixing things to read books and become proficient in skills they will never use is a colossal waste of time and ends in frustration for teacher and student alike.

Kids are put on psychoactive drugs for no reason at all. is there any kid who wants a trouble maker or fidgety o9r engaging in school fights? I do believe that we can end welfare quickly. No, not overnight but within a few weeks or months. Drugs are the main issue. They keep people lazy and those who are on drugs often just lie down on the street and "bliss out" college is a scam and more trade schools should come back. Shamefully, those were damn easy questions to answer just a few generations ago. When public education still had value and people still have religion. Now people cannot even tell you the difference between a man and a woman. If you were to ask parents of the last generation if they would take their kid to a shrink and pop pills in his mouth because he was fidgety they would think you were crazy and people new who had the final say in the house. Only a crazy person or a whore would want to kill their baby. As for the whole college thing, it was a myth from the beginning. College was never about education. It was about the rich networking their children with the other rich. Now in order to make money off student loan they tell you that everybody needs to college degree. What bullshit. If you look at the 10 richest men in the world half of them did not complete college and some not even high school. It is also a myth that white collar is better than blue collar. In fact, they should get rid of the words completely. There's nothing more satisfying than working with your hands. You know that I started an apprentice program that is running well and all the work is some form of craftsmanship or you can call it artisanship. Wherever we are in life is where God puts us and God always has a reason that is bigger than we can know. I started off working in a warehouse and as an adult I did both executive and physical labor jobs at the same time. You don't know how many so-called blue-collar guys that did nothing but read books during their lunch break and I'm not talking about technical books I'm talking about the classics and Shakespeare. They were autodidacts who were happy with their small and quiet lives. There are others whose secretly had investments everywhere and one I knew was a multi-millionaire. Blue collar - White collar discrimination is the most detestable thing I've seen. After I got my degree from one of the top 10 schools in America I got tricked into getting into a master's program which in the end gave me no skills but a shitload of debt that I only paid off a few years ago. If I could start over again I wouldn't even finish high school but goes straight to being an apprentice. Knowing how to read and write and some arithmetic unlocks the door to everything else in this world. I had a conversation with my fiance a while back and I told her that if we ever have children I refuse to pay for any type of degree that does not require licensing and certification. If they want to study liberal are such as English, painting, music, business, political science, economics, psychology, philosophy, etc then they pay. If they want to study to be a doctor or a nurse or a lawyer or anything that requires licensing and/certification then I will be happy to pay. I even be happy to pay for them to learn how to fix cars. You can go a long way with that. You can open your own auto shop and then within no time you might have two or three and then a few used car lots. I don't have any nephews or nieces but if I did, I would encourage them to quit college and give them money to become a certified plumber any day. These days, especially with access to the internet, you can be as self-educated as you want.

There are a number of ideas floating around that would help get to the goals that deleted wants. A proposal to get the federal government out of the education business has been a suggestion for a while now. Abolish the federal Department of Education. That would give parents more of a say in the process at a state and local level. At the state level the governor of a state could ask the state Labor Department to work with the school system in identifying the kinds of job skills employers need for the available jobs. That way a plan could be developed to get people the skills they need to get a job in the current market instead of seeking a higher education that may impart useless information on students. I worked in a grocery store once and one of the bagboys had a college degree.

In this state there are too many people on welfare that shouldn't be on it. Perfectly health people that are young decide they don't want to work. The government gives them a debit card and puts 250 dollars per month on it for food. If the government wanted these people off welfare they would require recipients of that money to register with the Dept. of Labor and look for a job or take training in some field that would lead to a job to get them off welfare. When people are looking for a job the state employment service could run random checks to see why some candidates for a job were not hired. If someone is on welfare or unemployment long term the Dept. of Labor could step in and make sure that person had training in how to look for a job. With a reported unemployment rate lower than any time in recent history there is no excuse for not finding a job. The only people that should be out of work are those who physically or mentally disabled. There are more unemployed than the stats show because when people quit looking for a job and unemployment benefits are exhausted they are no longer counted as unemployed.
