What if we ended all welfare programs overnight?

Democrat alarmists who want your tax dollars will tell you stuff like massive homelessness - millions of the working poor use their paycheck to cover rent, relying on welfare for food. But hunger wins. Within a few months, landlords would be going broke all over the country.

Housing prices collapse - a large percentage of houses and apartments are rented to the working poor making mass evictions comes and landlords unable to cover mortgages. Foreclosures soar and the frail housing market collapses again.

With far less tax money going to poor people, let's assume the government uses the cash to pay down debt instead of offering tax rebates. This drops interest rates and frees up capital for business loans. That would be stimulative, but with far fewer consumers, the economy is slide into massive depression. Businesses will contract.

The depression will go worldwide quickly, just as it did during the Great Depression and in 2008, but with fragile economies around the world, the damage would be far worse.

Homelessness will drive up crime. Since state income usually is tied to sales tax (way down) and property tax (declining), states will cut programs for everything but police and prisons. The results will be more cops and far more inmates, driving up costs dramatically.


I call bullshit. Welfare has imprisoned millions of White families. by ending welfare things would go back to the way they were before the Dems decided that it was the government’s job to take care of people instead of simply running the Country to provide opportunities for them to better themselves.

That being churches, philanthropists and other private ventures would take care of the poor and those in need.

The end result after all this “help” from the government is approximately ONE-THIRD of Americans are on some form of government assistance. With much of them are quite content to simply sit on their asses and cash their welfare check each month.

The “help” has also led to almost a complete breakdown of the family in the WHITES communities. This is because if the woman admits to who the father of her child is then she won’t get the government money. She just keep breeding.

In a free society, welfare of any description is never a legitimate function of government. It is in fact, an important element of communism—i. e. “From each according to his abilities and to each according to his needs.” It might seem like a great idea to some people, but Russia, North Korea, and several others have proven that it is both an economic and social disaster.

Our Founding Fathers would have never considered even one of the numerous welfare programs that currently consume trillions of our tax dollars, and have in fact, radically increased poverty instead of relieving it.

Up until the 1930s, people who immigrated to America did so to escape the heavy hands of oppressive governments and be free to work for themselves and earn their livings. Nobody even dreamed of handouts from any level of government. However, they did enjoy the benefits of much lower taxes and nearly nonexistent regulations. But beginning with FDR’s “New Deal,” various “relief” programs became established, and over the years, they have expanded into the jungle of money-draining, morale-destroying abominations we have today.

Through ignorance, many people now believe it would be cruel if we eliminated our government-run welfare programs. They envision children starving, living in shacks, and never getting educated. Today, through government-run education and their own parents, children are actually being taught that public assistance is necessary for a civilized society.

Call it “tough love” if you wish, but the absence of all government-run public assistance is a crucial recipe for everybody’s prosperity. Free people are expected to take care of their own affairs and earn their own livings, not be moochers and beggars, and certainly not robbers who use the force of government to extort resources from their fellows.

What about the truly needy—those who are disabled or otherwise unable to survive without help? That is why we have charities and churches in the private sector. They are far more efficient in managing their funds and sorting the truly needy from the mooching riffraff.

Today, we are swamped with millions of undocumented foreigners. Yes, some come to earn honest livings. But our huge and numerous public assistance programs attract endless hordes who come and receive massive quantities of “freebies.”

Here on the home front, we have another invasion—reckless childbearing. Many welfare programs, along with portions of our tax codes, offer endless incentives for people to bear excess children so they can receive more benefits. This creates an explosive surge in the welfare classes as future generations expand exponentially.

These wasted resources help nobody. They only provide a portal into dependence. The very existence of welfare gives people the attitude, “Why work for a living and pay taxes when I can get on relief and get it for free—food, housing, utilities, health care, child care, and just about anything else?”

People on welfare are parasites, pure and simple. They are taught to be that way by our own government. Not only are they unproductive, they have little to keep them busy. But they do have ample time to make nuisances of themselves and perform demonstrations to demand even more and support political candidates who will do just that. Some even graduate into criminal activities.

Life on welfare is undesirable in every respect. It is a life of destitution and dependency—unable to take care of oneself and unable to produce. Since the Devil FDR, and especially since the days of Lyndon Johnson’s “Great Society” in the mid-1960s, the percentage of our population on public assistance has skyrocketed. Some sources say that it is now approaching 50%, a dangerous tipping point where the people who vote for their livings will outnumber and outvote the productive sector of our population. Should that ever happen, then American civilization is primed for a catastrophic collapse.

Yes, things will change. The fatsos and couch-dwelling welfarites will have to get a job like any normal person, Boo-hoo. And no, thewelfarites are not going to rebel or revolt, they don't have the resources.

Life is hard, it has always been. If you make it easier, do you think someone would prefer it harder? There are benefits to not receiving help in a terrible time. Those benefits come in the form of a mirror. That mirror might reflect a change in thoughts, efforts, decisions, and actions. Sink or swim, basically. Learning to swim is hard to do but easier if it's the only option for survival. Because the only options would be to get up and fight to change everything or to lay down and die. Now someone else making things easier hinders that natural human endurance and creates a dependency on help a lot of times. Coming from a good place, most don't want anyone to unnecessarily suffer, especially had they themselves suffered. Except suffering builds endurance and without it ever, no one could get it together. If things are made easy and comfortable without effort, where could someone muster the desire to change their lives for the better? Where could someone find their resiliency and endurance? Sometimes, the greatest help a person could get is none at below rock bottom. Then, there’s only one direction to move toward and they will have been responsible for making their life what it is, themselves. Taking that away from someone is practically asking them to depend upon you.

This is my opinion, your is probably different. But let me tell you, I have lived a life full of ups and downs until just a few years ago. I have been nearly homeless, suffered from major depression and severe hearing loss, and worked 3 jobs for years that equated to 17-hour days, 7 days a week. I can't and don't even want to imgagine how my life wouldbe now if I chose to get into the welfare cycle.

Lots of liberals will compare America with 3rdworld countries that do not have welfare and how poor off those countries are. So what do people in those countries do? They work!
